Dr. Anthony Phan grew up flying between Virginia and the SF Bay Area, and studied biology at the University of Richmond before attending NYU College of Dentistry. After a general practice residency at New York Presbyterian-Queens, he relocated to California and found his passion for treating children, a passion he's pursued for nearly a decade.
Dr. Cat is thrilled to join the Spots for Smiles team! Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, she stayed close to home to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Washington. She then traded the Pacific Northwest for sunny California attend dental school at the UC San Francisco. UCSF holds a special place in her heart, as it’s where she met her husband, Steven! following graduation, the couple headed up to Sacramento to begin their careers. Dr. Cat has dedicated most of her career to children’s dentistry, spending the last several years working in community health and caring for underserved kiddos all across the greater Sacramento area.

Dr. Estella Kim provides dental anesthesia services throughout the Sacramento Valley area. A graduate of Loma Linda University's Dental Anesthesiology program, she completed a two-year post-doctorate residency with training in pediatric and special needs anesthesia.
Dr. Samuel C. Seiden is a pediatric anesthesiologist who trained at Stanford University and completed his pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Northwestern University/Children's Memorial Hospital. He is dedicated to making anesthesia as stress-free as possible for children and families, using techniques like tablet-based distraction that he demonstrated reduces anxiety in a widely recognized study.
Dr. Brett Martin is a board-certified pediatric dentist who discovered his passion for treating children while volunteering at underserved dental clinics during dental school at UCLA. He completed his pediatric specialty training at UCSF and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
